First of all, Mongolia is a beautiful country; the views and greenery are breathtaking. Vast steppes, marshes, forests—there was no way to get bored on the route. At night in the summer, you could see every star in the sky, and the grass was frosted—wonderful! And the horses were wonderful—strong, fast, and easily handling the truly challenging terrain. I really liked the guide—we could count on him all the time and he was such a good rider! The food was prepared on the route and it was fresh and very tasty. The route was brilliant!

The children still talk about our time in Mongolia most days.

We had the most incredible tour with Fat horse! My family (2 adults and 2 young children (2 and 4 yo)) arrived in Mongolia with not much of a plan. We soon met with Baaska—he made us so welcome and at home. We travelled for 6 weeks with them overland. They helped us with the children and we had the adventure of a life time! The trip was amazing—the Mongolian nature is stunning, everything was perfectly organized, and the team was very friendly. The horses were strong and well cared for. It's a great way to experience authentic Mongolian culture. I strongly recommend them.

We had an amazing experience—I did a horse trek around Khuvsgul lake for 13 days and it was gorgeous. Our tour guide, Baska, was super supportive and helped us as we were beginners at horse riding which definitely helped with the comfort throughout the trip. The trek was very well planned as we stopped at reindeer camps along the way and never had to wait for anyone or anything. We actually ended up finishing a day early as one of my friends had hurt their leg during the trek—luckily the crew was right onto it and got her medical attention straight away.
